On April 21st, in Ho Chi Minh City, The Southern Fertilizers Joint Stock Company (SFC) held its Employee Representative Conference and commended advanced typical examples for the 2020 - 2025 period. Attending the conference were Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp, Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Member Council of the Group; Mr. Nguyễn Văn Quý - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Group's Party Committee; Mr. Đào Trọng Cường - Deputy General Director of the Group; Mr. Nguyễn Huy Thông - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Chemicals Group's Party Committee, President of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, along with 131 delegates representing the Company's employees.
Reporting on the implementation results of the 2024 Employee Conference Resolution and the orientations and tasks for 2025, Mr. Đỗ Văn Tuấn, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of the Company, stated that in 2024, the Company basically overcame difficulties, ensured employment and income for employees, and completed several key targets of the 2024 Employee Conference Resolution. Specifically: The value of industrial production (actual price) reached VND 1,611 billion; Total revenue reached VND 1,639 billion; Profit reached 32.135 billion VND; The average income of employees according to the payroll finalization reached 12.048 million VND/person/month, equal to 114% of the plan; the actual payment reached 14.171 million VND/person/month.
In 2024, the Company fully implemented regimes and policies for employees such as social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and regimes according to the collective labor agreement (holiday and Tet bonuses, accident insurance purchase, encouragement of employees in emulation movements, etc.), contributing to stabilizing life and income.
The work of caring for the spiritual life of employees continued to receive attention through activities such as: organizing flower arrangement and cooking contests, and talks on International Women's Day (March 8th); organizing sightseeing trips on Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20th); participating in arts and sports festivals organized by the Group.
Trade unions at all levels, in coordination with professional departments, actively implemented social security and charity work such as: sponsoring 02 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers (2 million VND/mother/month); building "Trade Union Solidarity Houses", supporting loans for house repairs (100 million VND for 2 units: Cuu Long Factory, Hiep Phuoc Factory); giving Tet gifts to employees facing difficulties; building gratitude houses; supporting the study promotion fund, the poor, and localities affected by natural disasters; organizing Family Day... The total expenditure for social security activities reached 3.1 billion VND.
Giving guidance at the Conference, Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp informed about the Group's 2024 production and business results. Accordingly, the Group completed and exceeded the set targets. A highlight was that the employment and income of nearly 20,000 employees were ensured, with an average of nearly VND 15 million/person/month. In addition, many important tasks were also successfully implemented, including the amendment of the VAT Law for fertilizers and the implementation of the Restructuring Project. These results show the Group's increasing position, in which Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company has contributed. Despite facing many difficulties, the company's leadership and employees have strived to closely follow targets and plans, maintaining stable production and business operations while ensuring the lives of employees. On behalf of the Group's leadership, Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements that the leadership and employees have achieved in 2024.
Moving into 2025, the entire Group sets a growth target of 8%, a goal considered both challenging and opportunistic. To contribute to this common goal, Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp requested the company to pay special attention to the following issues: Resolutely and thoroughly resolve the existing issues identified in the report, related to raw materials, consumption norms, and personnel...; Improve product quality, build a strong brand, and at the same time develop new products suitable for sustainable consumption needs and trends, thereby improving operational efficiency. In particular, it is necessary to promote market work, identifying it as a key role; Invest in expanding production, automating production lines, and innovating technology to improve productivity and reduce costs; In the spirit of solidarity, seriously implement the streamlining of the organizational structure, while evaluating labor productivity in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 18.
