On June 24, 2026, in Johannesburg, South Africa, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chemical and Allied Industries’ Association of South Africa (CAIA). This event marks an important milestone in Vinachem’s international cooperation strategy, opening up new market development opportunities, supply chain connections, and fostering investment cooperation between Vietnamese and South African chemical enterprises. 

To further consolidate its leadership structure, enhance management capacity, and meet development requirements in the new phase, the Board of Directors of Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company has issued decisions on personnel for the Executive Board and leaders of its member units. 

On the morning of June 24, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo Member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Phạm Gia Túc chaired a meeting to review Vietnam-Laos cooperation in preparation for high-level diplomatic activities between the two countries expected to take place in the last months of 2026. The meeting was attended by leaders from relevant ministries, sectors, and agencies, as well as representatives of enterprises implementing cooperation projects in Laos. 

The General Director of Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) has just signed Decision No. 320/QĐ-HCVN to award Certificates of Merit to 22 workers with outstanding achievements in the first quarter of 2026. These individuals have made significant contributions to the production and business activities at their units, helping to fulfill the targets and plans of both their companies and the Group. 

As part of its business trip in South Africa, on June 23, 2026, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) attended a networking event with the Cape Town business community at Cape Town City Hall. The event, organized by Accelerate Cape Town, brought together city government representatives and leading businesses in the region, creating opportunities to connect, seek partners, and promote economic cooperation between businesses from both countries. 

On the morning of June 23, at the headquarters of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem), Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – General Director of the Group – chaired a working session with the Task Force for Pharmaceutical Chemical and Pharmaceutical Production Development to review the progress of assigned tasks, assess initial results, and set directions for key upcoming tasks. 

On the afternoon of June 23, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng, Head of the Government Steering Committee on Science and Technology Development, Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Project 06, chaired a special session focused on promoting science and technology development and innovation. The meeting was conducted in person at the Government Headquarters and connected online with provinces and cities nationwide.
