On April 24th, in Can Tho, Can Tho Fertilizers and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (CFC) held the 2025 Labor Conference. Attending included Mr. Dao Trong Cuong, Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Chemical Group; Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong, President of the Vietnam Industrial Chemical Trade Union, along with the whole employees of company.

According to the report, in 2024, the high cost of input materials significantly increased production expenses. Unstable raw material supply made market forecasting difficult. Additionally, the influx of cheap imported fertilizers put significant pressure on the consumption of domestically produced fertilizers. Many businesses sought export opportunities, leading to increasingly fierce price competition.

The company's internal difficulties have not been completely resolved, requiring the Board of Management to make strategic choices: increasing output, expanding market share, prioritizing business efficiency, ensuring profits, and gradually improving the financial situation. Specifically, in 2024, the company implemented many synchronous solutions to promote business operations and improve operational efficiency. For fertilizers, the company reviewed and reclassified its customer system, focusing on potential customer groups to optimize sales support. At the same time, user (farmer) coverage was expanded through marketing activities, sales support, and a pilot program to hire local collaborators to develop trial plots, product demonstrations, and connect with new users. A new working method was also implemented, including quarterly demand forecasting, setting monthly sales and payment criteria (base goal), and periodic evaluation and rewards, thereby creating motivation and a basis for evaluating employee capabilities.

For the detergent and cleaning product sector, the company organized roadshow programs combined with direct distribution of trial products at markets to increase brand awareness and reach consumers. The distribution system continued to expand with the establishment of new distributors, the development of sales teams in 9 regions, and support for the development of an additional 3,000 retail outlets. In particular, the small 800g detergent product was a focus for development, recording a sales growth of up to 100% compared to 2023. A market support team was also established to quickly address issues from distributors, sales staff, and consumers.

With the efforts and dedication of the leadership team and employees, the company achieved several results in 2024. Specifically (compared to 2023): Actual Production Value reached VND 906.6 billion, by 127%; Total Revenue reached VND 1,321 billion, by 113%; Pay into State Budget reached VND 6.8 billion, by 175%; Pre-tax Profit reached VND 5.8 billion, by 104%; Average Salary reached VND 9.4 million/person/month, by 106.5%.
