According to Fortune magazine’s announcement, Vinachem ranked 148th among the 500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia in 2026. This marks the first time the Group has appeared in this prestigious ranking, acknowledging its achievements in business operations, scale, and development capacity.

The Fortune Southeast Asia 500 is an annual ranking published by Fortune magazine, honouring the 500 largest companies in Southeast Asia. Enterprises are assessed based on key financial indicators, including revenue, profit, and total assets, with participants from seven countries: Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Cambodia.

Fortune reported that in 2025, Vinachem achieved revenue of 2.4 billion USD and profit of 146 million USD. These results reflect the Group’s business scale, financial foundation, and operational efficiency, as well as positive outcomes from restructuring, management innovation, increased productivity, and enhanced competitiveness.

Vinachem’s inaugural recognition in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 is particularly meaningful in the context of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW, dated 6 January 2026, on state economic development, which sets a target of 50 state-owned enterprises among Southeast Asia’s 500 largest by 2030. This achievement is testament to Vinachem’s efforts in scaling up operations, improving efficiency, and gradually realising the goal of building competitive state-owned enterprises within the region and internationally.

Such success is the result of the dedication of nearly 20,000 staff, engineers, and workers across the Group, coupled with strong leadership and the proactive spirit of innovation and perseverance among its member units. In recent years, Vinachem has focused on promoting innovation, digital transformation, green transition, improved management, and business efficiency, laying the foundations for stable and sustainable growth.

Alongside consolidating its traditional core businesses, the Group has steadily expanded into advanced technology and high value-added sectors such as pharmaceuticals, new materials, chemicals for the electronics and semiconductor industries, rare earth extraction, and the circular economy. Furthermore, the development of the VinachemMart e-commerce platform and Vinachem Agriculture platform have helped expand market connections, promote digital transformation, and increase the value of its product chains.

Attending the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 Summit 2026 and being recognised in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 not only acknowledges Vinachem’s achievements, but also serves as a driving force for continued innovation, improved operational efficiency, and sustainable development. This milestone affirms Vinachem’s position, reputation, and role in Vietnam’s chemical industry, while providing a platform for the Group to further advance within the regional and global industrial value chains.
