VINACHEM

On the occasion of the 80th National Day anniversary (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), the National Achievements Exhibition, themed "80 Years on the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness," opened on the morning of August 28 at the Hanoi National Exhibition Center. Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) participated with a booth named “Vinachem – The Mark of a Journey” in the "Economic Locomotive" section (Hall 2). On August 29, 2025, a Vinachem delegation led by Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp, a member of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the Board of Members, along with representatives from member units and specialized departments of the Group, visited the exhibition Booth.

During the visit, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Members, and General Director of Vinachem, and the staff in charge of the booth, joined Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp to tour the historical area. This section featured images and artifacts showcasing the 56-year historical tradition of the Group's formation and development. The booth vividly displayed many historical artifacts such as medals, certificates of merit, and handwritten notes from President Ho Chi Minh and other Party and State leaders who had visited Vinachem's predecessors. A special central area was dedicated to honoring the five times Uncle Ho visited the chemical industry's precursor units—these sacred memories serve as a great spiritual motivation for generations of Vinachem workers to strive forward. Additionally, the Group's key products (fertilizers and pesticides, apatite ore mining and processing, basic chemicals, industrial gases, technical rubber and tires, batteries, and household detergents, etc.) were displayed in separate sections, giving visitors a clear understanding of Vinachem’s role in national agricultural and industrial development.

At the Booth, visitors enjoyed various engaging activities. They could download the VinachemMart e-commerce app to receive shopping discounts and get souvenir gifts that embody Vinachem's identity. Outside the booth, LIX Detergent JSC (a Vinachem member unit) sponsored free hand sanitizer under the LIXCO brand for the entire exhibition area, ensuring hygiene and health for visitors while also promoting the Group's consumer products. On the opening day, the Vinachem booth was always packed with people and recorded thousands of new account registrations on the VINACHEMMART app.

In their address, the Vinachem leadership emphasized that participating in such a significant event was "an honor, a source of pride, and a responsibility." This demonstrates Vinachem's commitment to continuing innovation, applying high technology, and achieving sustainable development to serve the common good.

In his role as Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Members, Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp encouraged everyone to continue promoting a spirit of creativity and boosting production. He also noted that by exhibiting historical artifacts and the achievements of Vietnam's chemical industry at a national level, Vinachem is enhancing its corporate image in the public eye. The Vinachem leadership affirmed that they will continue to coordinate closely with news agencies to convey information transparently and promptly, helping to spread the traditional values and development vision of the chemical industry to the wider public.

Concluding the visit, Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp reaffirmed that Vinachem will relentlessly improve its technological capacity, expand its consumer market, and build a green, clean, and safe image to be worthy of its position as a leading enterprise in the country's economic development. The exhibition celebrating the 80th National Day has left a positive impression of Vinachem's maturity and integration, while also encouraging Vinachem to continue its pioneering role alongside the entire nation toward a prosperous future.
