Entering 2025, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) faces a significant economic task with strong belief and determination. Implementing the government's directive to ensure the country's growth rate reaches 8% or higher, Vinachem has set a minimum growth target of 8% this year. On April 9, 2025, the Vietnam National Chemical Group and the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union signed a emulation agreement with the determination to break through and achieve the 8% growth target for 2025. With a new spirit, the whole Group is striving to conquer this goal, creating a solid foundation for double-digit growth ambitions in the 2026-2030 period.

Breaking Through from the Grassroots: Leaders Accompanying Each Unit

To turn the goal into reality, the Group's leadership quickly and closely engaged in specific actions. Immediately after the Lunar New Year holiday, special working groups led by the Group's leaders were established and worked directly with each member company and each production sector. Across all member units, from fertilizers and rubber tires to detergents and batteries, a vibrant atmosphere of labor and production emulation prevails. By closely adhering to the grassroots level, Vinachem firmly grasps the advantages and bottlenecks of each unit, thereby orienting the most effective breakthrough methods. In addition to the domestic market, Vinachem also proactively reaches out to the international market, affirming the position of Vietnamese brands globally. Many of the Group's key products have approached world standards – the research into high-quality products such as smart-chip-equipped car tires and advanced lithium batteries – demonstrates the determination to be ready to conquer the most demanding customers. In 2025 alone, Vinachem expects to successfully sign product supply contracts with globally renowned brands. Vinachem resolutely implements the restructuring and development project for the 2021-2025 period approved by the government, thereby streamlining the organizational structure, modernizing corporate governance, and strongly promoting digital transformation. The Group prioritizes research and development of high-tech chemical products serving key sectors such as the semiconductor industry and the North-South high-speed railway system. At the preliminary conference on Party work in the first quarter and the deployment of tasks for the second quarter of 2025, Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp – Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Management – emphasized: "Facing unprecedented difficulties and challenges, the entire Group's 8% growth target for 2025 and double-digit growth for the 2026-2030 period remain unchanged". He also affirmed that in the current difficult context, strengthening internal resources, expanding linkages, ensuring production and business, and maintaining domestic market share are the most practical patriotic actions. According to him, Vinachem views achieving 8% in 2025 not only as an important stepping stone for acceleration but also as a clear demonstration of the implementation capacity and leading role of state-owned enterprises in the new development phase.

Also at the event, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of Board of Director, General Director and CEO – emphasized: "2025 will also be a crucial moment to test our continued rise, master production and business operations, promote collective wisdom, leverage internal strengths, seize opportunities, and unite with determination to strive for the highest results in the set targets, creating a solid foundation for the double-digit growth phase in the following years of 2026-2030". This heartfelt statement strongly expresses the aspiration for a breakthrough, turning challenges into opportunities, and affirming the leading role in action in the new era.
