In line with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, LIXCO is implementing digital transformation through practical solutions in business, management, and production. The API system connecting Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop has reduced manual order processing tasks by around 80%. The company is also standardising ERP data, developing BILIXCenter and dashboards, running SCADA at the Bac Ninh Plant, and researching ERP–PLC integration.

No Blanket Digitalisation

Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated 22 December 2024 of the Politburo, which calls for breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, along with the digital transformation plan of the Vietnam National Chemical Group under Decision No. 88/QĐ-HCVN dated 13 February 2026, LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company has laid out a digital transformation plan for 2026–2030, embedding its goals and tasks within the long-term development strategy. The company recognises that digital transformation is not the sole responsibility of the IT department but is closely tied to management renewal, improved production and business efficiency, production automation, and enhanced competitiveness.

Key areas include completing ERP implementation; developing electronic offices and management reporting systems; applying artificial intelligence; investing in server infrastructure, networking, and information security; integrating production data with control systems; and rolling out automation solutions at the plant. LIXCO is also allocating resources and funding, and scheduling projects based on urgency and effectiveness.

LIXCO aligns digital transformation with real business needs, standardises ERP data, and gradually builds a data architecture for BILIXCenter and dashboards

A notable feature of the approach is that each task is linked to resolving specific issues in management, production, business, logistics, and customer service, limiting scattered investment or the deployment of applications that do not address actual needs. The IT department is the principal coordinator, working with other departments and branches to assess requirements, develop software, standardise data, and support users.

Alongside application development, LIXCO is reviewing and standardising processes for data management, sales, warehouse operations, production, materials, document approval, and internal authorisation. A key focus in the first half of the year has been cleaning and standardising ERP data, particularly for shared lists such as goods, materials, customers, suppliers, and operational information across head office, branches, and plants. Building on this data, the company is gradually developing an architecture for the BILIXCenter and dashboards for management, aiming for automated aggregation and visualisation of production, sales, finance, inventory, and operational indicators.

Platform Integration Cuts Manual Work by 80%

One of the clearest results in the first half of 2026 has been in e-commerce. LIXCO has completed the construction and integration of API connections with Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop—its current e-commerce platforms.

The system automatically receives orders, synchronises status, updates prices, manages promotional programmes, converts products, and pushes data to the sales management and e-invoicing modules. According to LIXCO’s initial assessment, this integration reduces manual tasks in e-commerce order processing by around 80%, while also minimising errors in order data, inventory, and revenue reconciliation. The automated e-invoice module has also been rolled out.

“API integration with Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop has reduced manual order processing tasks by around 80%.”

Following launch, the company continues to monitor data, adjust synchronisation algorithms, and optimise pricing and promotions for complex campaigns, all to ensure robust handling during peak order periods or major e-commerce events.

In management systems, LIXCO continues to add and refine functions. The sales management programme now includes quota tracking, export order exchange rates, synchronised catalogues across branches, order transfer and adjustment management, additional sales and inventory reports, and an e-invoice module for e-commerce. The materials management programme now features catalogue synchronisation and consolidated workshop inventory; the task management programme has been deployed to digitise job assignment, responsibility delegation, and progress tracking.

VinachemMart is also being maintained and upgraded by LIXCO as directed by the Group. In the first six months, the platform gained a new sales module for B2B clients (in trial), as well as product rating, promotion and voucher adjustments, improved search and filtering, and better customer interaction. The company is also working on integration with logistics, banking payment systems, and other support platforms, aiming to automate ordering, delivery, payment, and reconciliation processes.

From Production Data to AI Assistant Trials

In production, LIXCO has implemented a SCADA system at the Bac Ninh Plant to serve monitoring and control in the detergent powder workshop. ERP-to-PLC data integration is still at the research stage and has not been completed.

The plan for the second half of 2026 continues to focus on approved automation projects at the plant, such as automatic packaging, bag-to-carton placement, carton sealing, weighing and batching, online quality inspection, and production data collection. ERP–PLC and other control system integration will continue through site surveys, data standardisation, and pilot line selection before broader application, ensuring production continuity and equipment safety.

A new direction for the latter half of the year is the study and trial of an in-house artificial intelligence assistant. The model is intended to search and retrieve information from the company’s document repository, including processes, manuals, standards, ISO documentation, and operational files. The solution is planned to combine a large language model with internal data retrieval to ensure responses are based on controlled documentation. The initial phase will focus on building a trial model, assessing accuracy, managing user permissions, and meeting security requirements before considering broader deployment.
“LIXCO is developing an in-house AI assistant capable of searching and exploiting processes, manuals, standards, ISO documentation, and business files from a controlled data source.”

Digital infrastructure and information security are maintained in tandem with new applications. In the first half of the year, LIXCO reviewed, upgraded, and migrated some software systems to new servers; invested in high-spec computers for research, trials, and AI application training. Firewalls, access controls, spam protection, endpoint security, and regular data backups for critical systems continue to be maintained.

Looking ahead, the company plans to upgrade servers for ERP and digital transformation applications; review backup and recovery capabilities; strengthen account management, permissions, vulnerability scanning, and information security assessment. User guidance for each software group will also be developed, using visual materials, videos, and in-person training, gradually building a core user base in each department and branch.

From reducing manual order handling, standardising ERP data, deploying SCADA, to piloting AI applications, LIXCO’s approach to Resolution 57 is rooted in the company’s real operational challenges. The focus is not on multiplying software deployments, but on data standardisation, automating suitable processes, and incrementally ensuring digital information directly supports management, business, and production.
