Viet Tri Chemicals: stabilizing production and improving workers’ living standards

On March 19, 2026, Viet Tri Chemicals Joint Stock Company held its 2026 Employees’ Representative Conference. Attending the event were Mr. Dao Trong Cuong – Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Chemical Group; Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong – Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; leaders of the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor; and 85 delegates representing nearly 400 employees across the company.

Fulfilling key targets, ensuring employment and income for workers

In 2025, despite numerous challenges, Viet Tri Chemicals maintained stable production and basically fulfilled its planned targets. Total revenue was estimated at VND 1.8 trillion, profit reached around VND 120 billion, and state budget contributions exceeded the plan. The average monthly income of employees reached over VND 16.7 million per person.

The company fully implemented policies and benefits for employees, with 100% of workers having labor contracts and participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance in accordance with regulations. Employment remained stable; working hours and rest periods were ensured; and working conditions continued to improve.

In addition, various welfare policies were maintained and enhanced, including birthday support, visits for sick employees, support for female workers, care for employees’ children, and organized trips and vacations. These efforts contributed to improving both material and spiritual well-being, while strengthening employees’ attachment to the company.

Emulation movements in labor productivity and technical innovation were actively promoted. In 2025, the company recorded 68 innovation initiatives, generating nearly VND 13 billion in added value.

Promoting grassroots democracy and building harmonious labor relations

The company strictly implemented internal labor regulations, collective labor agreements, and grassroots democracy regulations. Employee conferences at department, plant, and workshop levels were organized in full compliance with regulations, with high participation rates, reflecting a strong sense of responsibility and consensus among employees.

Legitimate concerns and proposals from employees were promptly addressed by company leadership, preventing labor disputes and contributing to harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.

Occupational safety and hygiene were given special attention. The safety management system was effectively maintained, while training, inspections, and supervision were conducted regularly to ensure safe and stable production.

Development orientation associated with innovation, safety, and efficiency

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dao Trong Cuong acknowledged and commended the efforts and achievements of the company’s leadership and workforce in 2025, especially amid ongoing market fluctuations.

He praised the company for maintaining stable production, largely fulfilling business targets, and effectively improving employees’ income and welfare, thereby motivating workers to remain committed to the enterprise. He also highlighted the continued promotion of innovation and technical improvements, which contributed to enhanced productivity, product quality, and business efficiency.

Looking ahead, he emphasized the need to prioritize occupational safety under the principle “safety for production and production must be safe,” while continuing to improve working conditions and employee health care.

In response to economic uncertainties, the company was advised to proactively forecast trends, develop flexible management scenarios, enhance governance capacity, and strictly comply with regulations on safety, environment, and quality standards.

At the same time, the company should continue promoting grassroots democracy, encouraging employee innovation, and accelerating the application of science, technology, and automation to improve productivity and minimize risks.

He also noted the importance of developing a suitable roadmap for relocating production facilities in line with planning requirements, as well as preparing for activities marking the company’s 65th anniversary, thereby reinforcing its position in the basic chemicals sector.

Launching emulation movements to fulfill 2026 objectives

At the conference, company leaders directly addressed employees’ recommendations and launched emulation campaigns for 2026, calling on all staff to uphold unity, innovation, and creativity to successfully accomplish the year’s goals and tasks.

The conference also adopted a resolution with strong consensus, reflecting the determination to build Viet Tri Chemicals Joint Stock Company into a stable and sustainable enterprise, contributing positively to the overall development of Vietnam National Chemical Group.
