On January 29, 2026, in Phu Tho province, Lam Thao Fertilizers and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (Supe Lam Thao) - a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) - solemnly held a ceremony to launch its new fertilizer products for 2026. This event marks a significant milestone, showcasing the enterprise's strong determination to transition from traditional fertilizer production to providing green, sustainable nutrition and cultivation solutions adapted to modern agricultural demands.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Dinh Cong Su, Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Phung Ha, Chairman of the Vietnam Fertilizer Association; and representatives from Vinachem, led by Vice General Director Mr. Nguyen Van Luyen. On the company's side, General Director Mr. Pham Thanh Tinh and the Board of Directors presided over the launch.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Thanh Tung, General Director of Supe Lam Thao, emphasized that in the face of challenges such as climate change, soil degradation, and rising input costs, the company remains steadfast in its strategy of using science and technology as a foundation to develop eco-friendly products.

For six consecutive years, the company has consistently introduced new fertilizer groups to the market, ranging from mineral-organic and high-content NPK to microbial superphosphate. Each year represents a step forward in an innovation strategy that closely aligns with the practical needs of farmers.

11 New Products – The Next Step in the "Organic-Bio-Microbial" Strategy

At the launch, Supe Lam Thao officially introduced 11 new products for 2026, categorized into three key groups:

• Organic Fertilizer Group (02 products): HC23 Lam Thao and HC35-241 Lam Thao.
• Bio-Microbial Enhanced Inorganic Group: Lam Thao Urea enhanced with bio-microbial additives.
• Specialized Fertilizer Group (08 products): Tailored for specific crops including Rice (1 & 2), Corn (1 & 2), Pineapple, Orange, Lychee, and Cinnamon.

These products represent the inheritance and development of specialized fertilizer lines tailored to specific crops and growth cycles—a strategic direction that Supe Lam Thao has persistently pursued and will continue to refine in the coming years.

In parallel, the Company continues to enhance its existing product portfolio by supplying key straight (single-nutrient) and complex inorganic fertilizers, such as Urea, SA (Ammonium Sulfate), Potassium Sulfate, Potassium Chloride, DAP, MAP, Rich Superphosphate, and Triple Superphosphate. These are offered in various packaging specifications to meet the increasingly diverse demands of the market.

Toward Green, Efficient, and Low-Emission Agriculture

A common feature of Supe Lam Thao’s new generation of fertilizers is the optimization of nutritional efficiency. These products enhance crop absorption, reduce required dosage, and limit runoff while restoring soil microflora and improving fertility. The neutral pH of these fertilizers helps suppress fungal diseases, reduces the need for pesticides, aids in reclaiming saline-alkaline soil, and contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture.

Beyond merely supplying products, Supe Lam Thao has set a long-term goal to build an ecosystem of closed-loop farming solutions. This involves linking fertilizer products with technical transfers, innovative cultivation models, and circular economy value chains, ultimately contributing to the enhanced sustainable value of Vietnamese agricultural production.
