Members unit

One of the highlights of the Pickleball event at the 2026 Southern Region Vinachem Employee Sports Festival was the participation of Group leaders and leaders of member units. Once on court, everyone was an athlete—wearing sports attire and competing with seriousness, determination, and respect for their opponents.

The matches were lively, with many thrilling rallies. Decisive net play, rapid volleys, daring saves near the line, and powerful smashes all drew cheers from the crowd. Amidst the competition, athletes encouraged teammates with paddle taps and shook hands with opponents, creating a friendly, united, and civil atmosphere.

This year, Pickleball attracted 73 athletes from 10 units, competing across various age groups and events. From leadership pairs to events for employees under and over 45 years old, every match was of good technical quality, showing serious preparation by each unit.

In many matches, spectators could easily spot leaders and employees exchanging tactics and cheering each other on before and after every game. The gap between management and staff seemed to narrow during these hours of sport and interaction. This is one of the core values the Vinachem Employee Sports Festival aims for: fostering connection among units and building a positive, united workplace.

Pickleball is a pairs sport that requires smooth coordination between two athletes. Beyond individual skill, the ability to support and cover each other, and strong teamwork, are key to success. Each contest was not just about technical prowess, but also about team spirit and mutual trust.

At the end of the Pickleball event, the Organising Committee awarded medals to the top pairs. Beyond the results, the lasting impression was of leaders and staff playing together, sharing the joy of victory, and supporting each other after every match. These moments contributed to the positive spirit of the 2026 Southern Region Vinachem Employee Sports Festival and spread the message: “Healthy to work, united to grow.”
