Over the years, occupational safety and health has always been identified by the company as a key task and a core factor for sustainable business development. The company has implemented a variety of measures such as investing in facilities, improving working conditions, enhancing the quality of the safety and hygiene officer network, promoting digital transformation, and applying ISO 45001 standards on occupational health and safety.
With the 2026 theme "Innovating Management and Enhancing the Effectiveness of Occupational Safety and Health in the Digital Era," the company is actively researching and applying technology to risk forecasting and digitizing the ISO system to build a safe, civilized, and efficient working environment.

The contest featured 9 teams with nearly 100 officers and employees from all company units. Teams went through four rounds: communication, knowledge, first aid practice, and the "Innovative Safety Proposals" round. There was also an audience Q&A segment for those supporting the event.
The contest focused on legal regulations on occupational safety and health; fire prevention and fighting; skills for handling incidents and providing first aid for workplace accidents. Notably, the communication round was meticulously prepared by the teams, featuring lively skits and scenes reflecting real-life workplace situations, contributing to raising safety awareness at work.

In the practical round, teams directly handled situations such as electric shock, chemical burns, suffocation, bleeding control, and bandaging for accident victims, thereby demonstrating their professional skills, coordination, and adaptability in emergencies.

Speaking at the contest, Mr. Phạm Thanh Tùng, General Director, emphasized the vital role of occupational safety and health in business operations; he also affirmed that the contest is an opportunity for safety and hygiene officers to exchange experiences, improve skills, and spread a culture of safety throughout the company.

At the closing ceremony, on behalf of the organizing committee, Mr. Lê Văn Hoằng acknowledged and highly appreciated the thorough preparation, responsibility, and enthusiasm of the teams, who delivered practical, engaging, and meaningful performances. He thanked the judges for their objective and fair evaluation. He also noted that in the coming time, the company will continue to promote occupational safety and health for the safety of employees and the sustainable development of the business.

At the end of the contest, the organizing committee awarded the First Prize to the NPK2 Enterprise team; the Second Prize to the Acid Enterprise team; two Third Prizes and five Encouragement Prizes, along with many other prizes for outstanding teams and individuals.
Through the contest, the company hopes to create a useful platform for safety and hygiene officers to interact, learn, and improve their professional skills; at the same time, to widely promote the culture of workplace safety throughout the company, contributing to building a safe, civilized, and efficient working environment.
