DRC’s Common Home: Promoting the Tradition of Solidarity and Caring for Employees

03:28 PM @ Monday - 29 June, 2026

On the afternoon of June 26, Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) held a mid-year conference to review trade union activities for the first six months of 2026, assess achievements, and set out key tasks for the coming period.

Attending and directing the conference were Mr. Nguyễn Huy Thông, Standing Committee member of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; Mr. Ngô Văn Tùng, Standing Committee member and Head of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union.

On the DRC side were the Executive Board, members of the Party Committee, Trade Union Executive Board, Youth Union Executive Board, department and factory leaders, and a large number of staff and trade union members.

In the first half of 2026, DRC’s Trade Union continued to closely align with the company's business goals, carrying out many practical activities focused on employees. Communication and union member mobilization efforts were regularly maintained; production emulation movements and technical innovation initiatives continued to gain support, contributing to the company’s achievement of its set targets.

A key topic at the conference was employee welfare, which has been a long-term priority for DRC’s Trade Union. At the event, DRC’s Trade Union awarded support to 21 employees facing difficulties, illness, or long-term treatment in Q2/2026. Although the support cannot solve all difficulties, it has provided timely encouragement and shared burdens with employees in need of collective care.

Of particular note, the company’s union presented more than 150 million VND—donated by the company’s staff and workers—to the family of Mr. Lê Văn Tuấn, a worker in the Quality Control Department. This act exemplifies the spirit of solidarity and mutual support among DRC’s workforce when colleagues encounter hardship.

Also on this occasion, the family of Mr. Lê Kim Công, a worker at the Rolling Mill Factory, received financial assistance from the "Chemical Shelter" program. Such support not only helps improve living conditions but also reassures workers, enabling them to focus on their jobs and remain committed to the company long-term.

The employee care activities implemented at the conference demonstrate the trade union’s concern for its members and employees. From support during hardship and illness to companionship in stabilizing life, DRC’s Trade Union always strives to ensure employees feel the collective’s care and responsibility.

In his remarks, the leader of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union acknowledged DRC Trade Union’s achievements, especially in employee welfare. He also urged the company’s union to continue representing and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of employees; promote emulation movements; and help build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in the company.

With a tradition of solidarity built over many years and the companionship of the trade union, DRC continues to foster a cohesive, humane, and responsible working environment. Every employee welfare activity not only provides material support but also strengthens trust and motivation, helping employees work with peace of mind and join forces for sustainable business development.

Within DRC’s common home, the spirit of solidarity and compassion remains a key foundation, empowering the workforce to overcome challenges and strive towards new development goals.
