02:39 PM @ Tuesday - 17 March, 2026

Amid the growing trend of strengthening linkages among domestic enterprises to optimize supply chains and enhance competitiveness, on the morning of March 12, 2026, Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) held a working session with a delegation from Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC). The meeting focused on reviewing past cooperation results and discussing orientations for expanding collaboration in areas aligned with the strengths and needs of both sides.

Attending the meeting, from the Hanoi end, representatives of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) included Mr. Nguyen Van Luyen, Deputy General Director, along with leaders from the Planning and Business Department, who joined online.

On the VIMC side, participants included Mr. Le Quang Trung, Deputy General Director, together with representatives from functional departments and several member units within the corporation.

Welcoming the VIMC delegation, DRC was represented by Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut, General Director, along with key executives and staff members.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed and assessed the outcomes of cooperation between DRC and VIMC’s member units over the past period. Accordingly, the supply of technical rubber products serving transportation and logistics activities has initially yielded positive results, creating a foundation for further expansion of cooperation in the future.

On that basis, the leaders of both sides agreed to elevate their partnership and expand cooperation across multiple areas. The focus will be on technical rubber products for the transport and infrastructure sectors, as well as logistics and warehousing services—areas where both parties possess strong capabilities.

The meeting also provided time for VIMC’s member units and DRC’s functional departments to exchange more detailed information on the products and services each side can offer. This enabled both parties to share their upcoming needs and explore additional cooperation opportunities aligned with their development orientations.

Based on the cooperation framework between VIMC and Vinachem, the parties agreed on several specific areas of coordination. According to the plan, relevant units will soon implement steps for market engagement, competitive quotations, and completion of required procedures, aiming to sign cooperation agreements in 2026.

Mr. Le Quang Trung, Deputy General Director of VIMC, emphasized the importance of implementing work in line with the “5 clarities” principle: clear responsibilities, clear tasks, clear accountability, clear timelines, and clear outcomes, during the working session with DRC.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Quang Trung, Deputy General Director of VIMC, highly appreciated the open and constructive exchange between the two sides. He emphasized that, to ensure substantive and effective implementation, all activities should adhere to the principle of the “5 clarities”: clear responsibilities, clear tasks, clear accountability, clear timelines, and clear outcomes.

According to Mr. Trung, with its nationwide ecosystem of shipping, seaports, and logistics services, VIMC is well-positioned to provide comprehensive logistics solutions for large manufacturing enterprises. Expanding cooperation with companies within the Vinachem ecosystem, in general, and DRC, in particular, is expected to help optimize supply chains and improve operational efficiency for all parties.

Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut, General Director, affirmed that DRC is fully capable of meeting all requirements for products and services to support VIMC’s production and business operations.

From DRC’s perspective, Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut, General Director, affirmed that the company highly values the cooperation potential with VIMC’s port and logistics system. With over 50 years of experience and strong technological and technical capabilities in manufacturing tires and technical rubber products for road and maritime transport, DRC is confident in its ability to meet VIMC’s requirements for products and services.

According to Mr. Nhut, toward achieving double-digit growth targets in the coming years, DRC is also considering expanding its use of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain services provided by VIMC’s member units. This is viewed as a strategic step to strengthen linkages between manufacturing and logistics enterprises, thereby enhancing cooperation efficiency and ensuring sustainable development in the future.
