On April 28, 2026, Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemicals Joint Stock Company successfully held its 2026 Employee Conference, attended by Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – Deputy Party Secretary, Member of the Board of Members, and CEO of Vietnam National Chemical Group; Mr. Nguyễn Huy Thông – President of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; Mr. Đỗ Ngọc Anh – Vice President of the Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation; along with 460 delegates representing nearly 2,000 officers and employees of the Company.

Resilient Amidst Difficulties, Surpassing Multiple Key Targets in 2025

Reporting on the implementation of the 2025 Conference Resolution and the 2026 plan, Mr. Phạm Thanh Tùng – Party Secretary and CEO of the Company, stated: In 2025, the Company’s business operations were impacted by various adverse factors such as extreme weather, volatile input prices, and fierce market competition. However, thanks to flexible management and the solidarity of all staff and employees, the Company achieved positive results.

Mr. Phạm Thanh Tùng – Party Secretary and CEO of the Company, reported on the implementation of the 2025 Conference Resolution and the 2026 plan.

Industrial production value reached VND 3,925 billion (103.3% of the plan, up 16.1% year-on-year); revenue reached VND 3,891 billion (109.8% of the plan); pre-tax profit was VND 207 billion (101% of the annual plan); state budget contribution was VND 69 billion (110% of the plan); and fertilizer output exceeded 843,000 tons.

New products such as bio superphosphate, high-nutrient NPK, and organo-mineral fertilizers continued to be well received by the market, with organo-mineral products growing impressively, up 93% year-on-year.

Comprehensive Care for Employees’ Well-being

At Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemicals Joint Stock Company, the philosophy that “employees are the most valuable asset of the business” is realized through practical, consistent policies. In 2025, 100% of employees had stable jobs; average income reached VND 17.25 million/person/month; and all salary, bonus, welfare, and insurance policies were fully and equally implemented.

The company ensured the quality of canteen meals, enhanced hazardous duty allowances, organized regular health check-ups, and purchased voluntary health insurance; it also organized domestic and international trips for outstanding employees. Meaningful activities also targeted employees’ families, such as birthday gifts, Children’s Day and Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, and awards for excellent students.

At the same time, the company invested in improving working conditions, building a “Green – Clean – Beautiful” environment, promoting skills training, and maintaining cultural and sports activities. This comprehensive care created peace of mind and strong attachment, serving as an important motivation for staff to enthusiastically engage in creative work, contributing to the sustainable development of the Company.

In 2026, the Company aims to achieve the following key targets: industrial production value of VND 4,191 billion; revenue of VND 4,260 billion; fertilizer output of 859,000 tons; and pre-tax profit of VND 125 billion.

The focus is to introduce potassium sulfate (K₂SO₄) products to the market; develop specialized, organic, and microbial fertilizers; accelerate technological innovation, digital transformation, cost reduction, market expansion, and continue improving employees’ livelihoods.

Promoting Grassroots Democracy and Enhancing Dialogue

Mr. Lê Văn Hoằng, Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union, reported on the work completed during the first session of the Conference.

Right from the first session, the Conference devoted significant time to promoting democracy and direct dialogue with employees. All proposals and requests from units were compiled and reported publicly; all matters related directly to employee interests, such as welfare funds, reward funds, insurance regimes, and incentive policies, were transparently shared at the Conference.

The CEO and relevant departments directly addressed each group of issues of employee concern. Previously agreed-upon matters were reiterated clearly; new suggestions were recorded for review and action. The election of the new term’s Grassroots Inspectorate Board was also held during the preparatory session, highlighting the employees’ supervisory role in the company.

This organizational approach not only helps employees clearly understand the company’s operations but also fosters openness, trust, and consensus between labor and management, contributing to harmonious and stable labor relations throughout the company.

Directive Speech from Group Leadership

In his directive speech at the Conference, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – Deputy Party Secretary, Member of the Board of Members, and CEO of Vietnam National Chemical Group – praised and highly appreciated the company’s outstanding achievements in 2025, which made important contributions to the Group’s overall results. Despite a volatile economy, rising input costs, and fierce competition, the Company maintained impressive growth momentum.

He emphasized that Supe Lam Thao stands out within VINACHEM for its care for employees, as demonstrated by improved meals, working conditions, welfare, and the creation of a green – clean – safe working environment, reflecting the Group’s consistent view: “Employees are the most valuable asset of the business.”

He also shared the Group’s 2025 overall results. Despite many difficulties and challenges, VINACHEM still achieved all assigned targets. Notably, 2025 marked a key milestone: the Group completely resolved its accumulated losses after nine years, restored financial health, and qualified to set aside reward, welfare, and science & technology funds, laying a solid financial foundation for a new development phase. Among these results, Supe Lam Thao made a significant contribution, playing a leading role in helping the Group maintain double-digit growth and laying the groundwork for 2026–2030.

Entering 2026—the first year implementing the Party Congress resolutions and beginning the 2026–2030 phase with the goal of continuous double-digit growth—the CEO requested the Company to focus on several priorities: tightly manage input materials, especially ore sources; accelerate science and technology application, equipment and process innovation; expand markets, especially exports; actively participate in the Group’s digital transformation, e-commerce, and green transition initiatives.

He announced that VINACHEM will roll out a digital agricultural advisory platform to deliver products and technical solutions directly to farmers, helping to prevent counterfeiting, enhance brand value, and create opportunities for Supe Lam Thao to effectively participate in the program.

Additionally, he urged the Company to further promote creative labor emulation, honor outstanding individuals quarterly, enhance safety and environmental work, review and update processes and regulations according to new laws, and comprehensively care for employees’ material and spiritual lives as a basis for sustainable development.

Emphasizing the tradition of being a three-time Hero of Labor unit and honored to have been visited by President Ho Chi Minh, he called on all officers and employees at Supe Lam Thao to uphold responsibility and creativity in every position, intensify emulation movements, and strive to meet and exceed the 2026 business targets, contributing to VINACHEM’s success in the new growth phase and making positive contributions to the chemical industry, agriculture, and the national economy.

The Conference adopted the Resolution with high consensus, reflecting the collective will and determination of Supe Lam Thao’s employees to work with company leadership for continued development and active contribution to Vietnam’s chemical industry.
