Đào Trọng Cường Appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ha Bac Nitrogenous Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company
On April 29, 2026, Ha Bac Nitrogenous Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company held its 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and completed the restructuring of the Board of Directors for the new term. According to the resolution approved at the meeting, Mr. Đào Trọng Cường – Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Chemical Group – was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company.

The new Board of Directors consists of five members: Mr. Đào Trọng Cường serves as Chairman; members include Mr. Nguyễn Văn Dũng (also General Director), Mr. Phạm Văn Trung, Mr. Nguyễn Đình Hồng, and Ms. Nguyễn Tuyến Anh (independent member).
Mr. Đào Trọng Cường is currently Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Chemical Group. His election as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ha Bac Nitrogenous Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company comes as the company continues to maintain stable business operations and has been consistently profitable over the past five years.
In 2025, the company achieved an industrial production value of 4,260.8 billion VND, and business performance reached 10.9 billion VND, an increase over the same period last year. Moving into 2026, the company sets targets of total revenue of 4,875 billion VND, profit of 242 billion VND, and a converted consumption output of 448 thousand tons of urea.
Amid ongoing volatility in the global fertilizer market, the company has identified a continued focus on management, improving production efficiency, accelerating digital transformation, expanding markets, and developing new products and industrial chemicals.
The consolidation of the Board of Directors' personnel will help enhance governance effectiveness and ensure the implementation of business objectives approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders for 2026 and the following years.
