On the morning of February 23, 2026, Comrade Cao Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Finance, visited, met with, and extended Lunar New Year greetings to the leadership, officials, staff, and employees of Vietnam National Chemical Group (VINACHEM) on the occasion of the New Year.
The delegation was received by Comrade Phung Quang Hiep, Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the Members’ Council; Comrade Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Members’ Council, and General Director; along with members of the Standing Board of the Party Committee, the Members’ Council, the Board of General Directors, and leaders of the Group’s functional departments and Office.

At the meeting, on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Finance, Deputy Minister Cao Anh Tuan extended New Year wishes of health, happiness, peace, and prosperity to all officers, employees, and workers of the Group. He acknowledged and commended the efforts and positive results achieved by the Group in 2025, particularly in stabilizing production and business operations, ensuring employment and income for workers, and making important contributions to the state budget.
Regarding tasks for 2026, the Deputy Minister requested the Group to continue building on its achievements and strive to accomplish the double-digit growth targets as directed by the Government and the Ministry of Finance. He emphasized the effective implementation of Resolution No. 79 on the development of the state-owned economic sector, in which state-owned enterprises play a key role with breakthrough solutions.
In addition, the Group was urged to further expand international markets, initially continuing to leverage its effectiveness in the Laos market. The Deputy Minister stressed that 2026 is a significant year in achieving the country’s socio-economic development goals. Therefore, the Group should continue promoting solidarity, proactively innovating, accelerating digital transformation and green transition, improving production and business efficiency, strengthening corporate governance, and effectively utilizing state resources, while also paying close attention to social welfare and employees’ well-being.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Phung Quang Hiep expressed his joy and appreciation for the Deputy Minister and the delegation’s visit to extend New Year greetings to the Group in the early days of Spring Binh Ngo 2026. He noted that this timely encouragement created momentum and confidence for all employees to enter the new year with strong determination to successfully fulfill assigned tasks.
He shared that during the Lunar New Year holiday, the Group’s leadership directly visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to employees working at units operating throughout the holiday. Due to the specific characteristics of certain product lines such as DAP and urea, which cannot halt operations, many units maintained continuous production, ensuring safety and stability. From the fourth day of Tet, several units simultaneously launched production drives and signed export contracts, notably in Ninh Binh and Hai Phong, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere from the very beginning of the year.

Specifically, at Ninh Binh One Member Limited Liability Company, during the nine days of Tet, the unit operated at maximum capacity, with daily sales reaching up to 2,000 tons of products—exceeding the designed capacity of 1,730 tons per day. Revenue reached approximately VND 25 billion, with positive business efficiency as all produced goods were fully consumed.
At Hai Phong DAP Joint Stock Company, 120 officers and employees were on duty throughout Tet, maintaining stable operations; in February 2026 alone, output reached a record 26,000 tons.
In addition, the Group has consistently paid close attention to employee welfare, ensuring stable jobs and income for nearly 19,000 workers. During the recent Tet holiday, the average bonus and income reached nearly VND 40 million per person. Units organized safe and warm celebrations, fostering a joyful atmosphere, and employees returned to work immediately after the holiday with a strong sense of responsibility.
On behalf of the Group’s leadership, Comrade Phung Quang Hiep sincerely expressed gratitude for the attention, direction, support, and facilitation provided by the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and its departments and agencies, which have significantly contributed to helping the Group overcome difficulties, stabilize, and grow. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026, he extended wishes of health, happiness, and success to the Deputy Minister and the delegation, expressing hope for continued companionship and support to enable Vietnam National Chemical Group to successfully accomplish its goals and tasks in 2026 and the years ahead.
