Comrade Kiều Phương Appointed Deputy General Director in Charge of SOVIGAZ
On June 20, 2026, the Board of Directors of Industrial Gas and Welding Electrode Joint Stock Company (SOVIGAZ) issued Decision No. 196/QĐ-HĐQT on the appointment of Comrade Kiều Phương, a Member of the Board of Directors, as Deputy General Director of the Company.
According to the Decision, Comrade Kiều Phương is assigned to be in charge of the Company’s Executive Board and to perform the functions, duties, and authorities of the General Director as prescribed by law, the Company’s Charter, and internal management regulations. The decision takes effect from June 20, 2026.
This appointment is based on the Company’s Board of Directors’ resolution on human resources, aimed at strengthening the executive leadership, ensuring stability in management, and meeting the development requirements of the enterprise in the new period.
Comrade Kiều Phương was born on September 23, 1973, in Kiều Phú commune, Hanoi city; holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, an Intermediate degree in Political Theory, and is a senior specialist.
During his career, he has held various professional and managerial positions in finance and accounting at units under the Vietnam National Chemical Group. He has worked at Ha Bac Fertilizer and Chemicals Company; Ninh Binh Fertilizer Plant Project Management Board; Ninh Binh Nitrogenous Fertilizer Limited Company; the Investment and Construction Department of Vietnam National Chemical Group, and has held many important management roles. His career has enabled him to accumulate extensive experience in corporate management, financial management, investment, construction, and organizing business operations.
From May 2025 to January 2026, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of France-Vietnam Sorbitol Joint Stock Company. Prior to being appointed Deputy General Director of SOVIGAZ, he was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Company and worked at the Investment and Construction Department of Vietnam National Chemical Group.
With his professional competence, management experience, and many years of work in the chemical industry, Comrade Kiều Phương’s appointment as Deputy General Director in charge of the Company’s Executive Board is expected to further enhance management efficiency, leverage SOVIGAZ’s potential and strengths, and continue building a stable, sustainable, and successful enterprise, fulfilling production and business objectives in the coming period.
